The second session of the ETEKIN Topaketa will take place on 17 June, focusing on the theme ‘The housing crisis and its economic and social impact’. Housing has become one of the main social and economic concerns in our society. Rising prices, difficulties in purchasing property and the debate surrounding regulatory measures will be among the topics discussed, along with possible solutions to these situations and challenges. The event will be attended by Julen Bollain Urbieta, an economist, lecturer and researcher at Mondragon University, and Ana Telleria Echeverria, Director of Neighbourhood Regeneration and Urban Agenda at the Basque Government.
How to spot hoaxes and AI-generated disinformation: a workshop in Basque and online, organised by Enpresa Digitala for Monday 8 June. This event offers a practical and accessible approach to understanding how AI is facilitating new forms of disinformation and what a company or professional can do to reduce its impact. Through real-life examples and situations relevant to the workplace, it will highlight key ways to identify suspicious content, understand how this type of manipulation is constructed, and act with greater caution and judgement in the digital environment.
On 9 June, Enpresa Digitala is hosting another fascinating seminar to examine ‘Guardrails: Building AI’s Retaining Wall’. The deployment of language models in production environments requires a robust control architecture that acts as a permanent arbiter between artificial intelligence and the end user. This event delves into the creation of logical security layers designed to ensure that the system remains strictly within the parameters of integrity, legality and corporate tone defined by the organisation.
