The Basque Government has launched the LANERA BUSINESS NETWORK, a permanent network for inter-company collaboration. The new LANERA BUSINESS NETWORK, launched by the Basque Government, has a clear objective: to connect companies committed to promoting the use of Basque, to encourage collaboration between them, and to jointly develop practical measures for the workplace. The event, which was attended by nearly 80 companies, served to share experiences, forge alliances and begin to build a shared vision that positions the Basque language as a source of added value, competitiveness and social cohesion.
The Basque language’s digital leap: reflections and common ground, on 9 July, as part of the UEU summer courses. The creators of the game Egunean Behin have developed a new game to practise Basque: Xiba. Following on from Egunean Behin and Tagzania, CodeSyntax has launched another game and app designed to be enjoyed in small daily doses: Xiba. Every day, Xiba offers three word search or puzzle-style games, selected from a catalogue of eight, and the aim is to try and solve them. These are games designed to test mental ability and agility, such as word searches, word of the day, maths problems, matching pairs, and strategy games... all in Basque.
‘Predictive analysis’ in the New Industry Dictionary. A discipline that covers diverse statistical techniques in the field of modelling, automated learning and data mining that examines historical and current evidence to make predictions about the future or about unknown events. The purpose is to acquire the knowledge implicit in the data; i.e., the relationships and models hidden behind the data.
