The 2026 BAI EUSKARARI Awards were presented on Wednesday. The Mendiak eta Herriak association, Euskal Moneta and the PuntuEus Foundation received this year’s BAI Euskarari Award at a ceremony held at Albaola Itsas Kultur Faktoria in Pasaia. The organisers, from the Bai Euskarari Association, emphasised to an audience of over 100 guests that the awards are not only a recognition of the work carried out, but also a boost for the future.
Enpresa Digitala invites us to the seminar “Responsible Use of Generative AI in Business”, to be held in Basque and online on 22 June. This conference aims to provide a practical overview of the responsible use of generative AI, focusing on the real risks that are already affecting businesses: data breaches, the use of unauthorised tools, AI-driven fraud, and loss of control over data.
ETEKIN Topaketa will take place on 17 June, focusing on the theme ‘The housing crisis and its economic and social impact’. Housing has become one of the main social and economic concerns in our society. Rising prices, difficulties in purchasing property and the debate surrounding regulatory measures will be among the topics discussed.Julen Bollain, Ana Telleria Echeverria and Pedro Ayesta will be the speakers at the talk.
‘Backup’ in the New Industry Dictionary. A backup is a copy of computer data taken and stored else where so that it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. The backup copy allows the last version of the information accidentally lost to be recovered; in the event that the last backup copy is not kept, it is possible to recover the previous versions.
