IndeusBerri: the meeting point for the Industry and the Basque

INDEUS will bring its members together on Wednesday for its second meeting of the year. Representatives from the companies that are members of the Basque Industrial Platform will meet on Wednesday in Donostia, at the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council headquarters. At what will be the second meeting of the year, the work carried out within the platform and the latest steps taken will be discussed, as well as various initiatives, including those related to digitalisation and education, or the language corpus.
The summer course “Critical Economy in Action IV: From World Oceans to Basque Ports” will take place on 10 July, organised by UIK - EHU. This Summer Course explores the deep connection between global capitalism and the maritime world, offering a critical and interdisciplinary perspective on ports, logistics, and marine ecosystems. It will be held at the Bermeo Fishing Museum, in the heart of Basque maritime culture, which allows for an innovative and meaningful learning experience.
The NI.EUS Basque mail service has become a virtual office. The NI.EUS mail service has just taken a qualitative and quantitative leap. From being a mere mail service, it has evolved into a comprehensive suite of tools for personal and professional communication. The project, the fruit of the collaboration between PuntuEUS and Iametza, has received the support of the Azkue Foundation and is a pioneer in the Basque digital ecosystem; it is an important milestone in the normalisation of the Basque language and in digital sovereignty.
‘Digital exclusion’ in the New Industry Dictionary. Social exclusions refers to the barriers that people face, due to some of their characteristics or specific situations, for using the Internet or learning to use basic digital technology, and which reduce their level of social welfare and quality of life. These characteristics or situations can be poverty, disability, etc. Digital exclusion not only affects people, but can also affect a specific geographical area.
