IndeusBerri: the meeting point for the Industry and the Basque

Today we are discussing Enpresa Digitala and Artificial Intelligence, Nortasuna Sarean, UEU summer courses, and conceptual design.

The Nortasuna Sarean conference will be held on 11 March at the San Telmo Museum in Donostia. What's new? Current forms of communication is the title given to this year's conference. The programme for the event, aimed at experts, professionals and communication students, will be available shortly. According to the organisers, following the annual in-person event, the conference will continue with a podcast.

Call for proposals for the 54th Summer Courses is now open. The UEU will be offering a new Summer Courses event in 2026, and the call for proposals for this has now opened. Following the trend of recent years, the Summer Courses offering will be complemented by workshops, meetings and/or conferences, with the aim of serving as a meeting point for the Basque scientific and professional communities.

The conference “Introduction to AI Agents: The evolution of LLMs capable of tackling complex tasks and transforming businesses” in Basque on 3 February. In the current context, where artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming multiple sectors, agents based on Large Language Models (LLMs) are emerging as key tools. These agents are capable of processing natural language and executing autonomous tasks, using external tools such as APIs, search engines and databases.

‘Conceptual design’ in the New Industry Dictionary. It is a first step in the design process in which the main functions and forms that the final concept will have are defined. That is why it is essential to understand the potential user's needs and to analyse how these needs can be met through products, services and processes. Sketches and models are often used in conceptual design.
