Danieli Procome Ibérica (DPI), the global centre of excellence for engineering in the Danieli Group in the handling and feeding of additives to furnaces, will be responsible for the development, construction, supply and commissioning of a fully automated system for unloading raw materials and loading additives and ferroalloys into the melting and refining furnaces of the steel complex.
The Bellara Steel complex will be located in the town of Jijel, 360 kilometres from Algiers, and is expected to be operational in late 2016. The project will include the construction of other fume extraction equipment, electrical substations and will make it necessary to expand the port.
