The Basque startup is working with Euskaltel in the field of data analytics

The Basque company Decidata, which specialises in advanced analytics and data visualisation, is collaborating with the phone company Euskaltel in a project in which it will offer its technological solutions to gather information about and improve the experience of the telecommunications operator’s users. The collaboration between the two companies is part of the startup acceleration programme Bind 4.0, promoted by the Basque Government and SPRI.

The Basque firm will provide a solution that combines its own algorithm for the advanced segmentation of Euskaltel’s customer database and geo-visualization tools for large quantities of information. The objective is to provide the Basque operator with a greater knowledge of its customers in order to personalise and improve users’ experiences with the data network.

According to Decidata partner Iñaki Pertusa, their participation in the acceleration programme and collaboration with Euskaltel mean “a great opportunity for training, and improvement, and for the business project to mature”.

The Basque firm, made up of mathematicians and consultants, offers solutions for business problems based on mathematical algorithms. With experience in the banking and telecommunications sector, the firm now intends to use this knowledge to solve problems in industry and to form part of Industry 4.0.

In meeting this objective, Decidata uses information and communication technologies as a basis for collecting and obtaining data. Subsequently, this information is transformed into knowledge that can be applied to its clients’ businesses. “We understand the business reality and offer solutions based on data to solve problems”, explains Gonzalo Artiach, another partner in the firm.
