27 February, 2015

The Basque business development agency, SPRI Group, dependent on the Basque Government Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness, organised a series of session on India last week, held at the Bizkaia Technology Park. The purpose of the event, promoted jointly with the Aclima and Energy clusters, was to present the Indian company ETI Dynamics and its portfolio of projects in the water and energy sectors.

On Thursday, Sammit Ahuja of ETI Dynamics presented two projects to build industrial wastewater treatment plants with zero liquid discharge in India and on Friday, projects in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

These initiatives were presented exclusively to Basque companies in the water and energy sector and will be financed entirely by Zeus Environergy, the financial branch of ETI Dynamics. ETI Dynamics also took advantage to present projects carried out in collaboration with European companies in India and expressed its willingness to collaborate with Basque companies to develop new projects in the future.

Also taking part in these sessions, together with the Indian company, was Philippe Adriaenssens of Eurochambres, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, who presented the European initiative EBTC – European Business and Technology Centre – which offers services such as participation in trade fairs in India under the European flag or temporary location of European companies in its 4 offices in the country: New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai.

To finish, the sessions closed with B2B meetings between the Basque companies attending and the speakers, to continue looking into the possibilities of operating jointly in the Indian market in the future.
