The planned distribution of the investment is as follows: 112 million euros for the plant in Burgos, 73 million for Basauri (Bizkaia) and 34 million for Puente San Miguel (Cantabria). Bridgestone Hispania, whose headquarters and decision-making centre is in Basauri (Bizkaia), employs some 3,000 people, who operate the three factories already mentioned plus another one located in Usansolo (Bizkaia) that specializes in fabrics and acts as a supplier to the other factories. The annual turnover of this subsidiary of the Japanese multinational is approximately 760 million euros.
