Biscayan company Belgicast, part of the Talis group, is to invest 4.5 million euros in the renewal of its product catalogue, particularly its gate and butterfly valves. The company is also implementing measures to increase automation and machining capacity, reports local journal Empresa XXI.
Belgicast supplies valves for projects in Qatar, Singapore and Oman. Its technological evolution includes the investment of a million euros for the machining of large valves and to perform work in-house that was previously outsourced.
