An innovative battery, developed by CIC energiGUNE in conjunction with Tecnalia and the companies Gencoa and Nanospace, will help to improve the services offered by nanosatellites, reports local business journal Empresa XXI. The initiative, which is part of the European Horizon 2020 programme, will involve the study of new materials, the development of the control system for thin film manufacturing and the integration of batteries in MEMS systems.
The project results will be disseminated by the Basque aeronautics cluster; Hegan, which will organise a workshop with the most significant sector stakeholders.
