The Finnish delegation has come to the Basque Country to learn about the current situation of Basque industry and the keys to success of the economic transformation.
The SPRI Group, the Basque business development agency, dependent on the Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness, has received a visit by 22 senior officials from several Finnish provinces. The Finnish delegation has come to learn about the current situation of Basque industry and the keys to success of the economic transformation that the Basque Country has undergone in recent years.
At the reception, the head of the SPRI Invest In The Basque Country section, Marian Ibarrondo, made a presentation of the work carried out in the field of attracting foreign direct investment, the main industrial sectors of the Basque economy, as well as the presence of some Finnish companies in these sectors.
The members of the Finnish delegation also showed great interest in learning more about the history and current situation of the Basque cluster network, the Basque Dual Training system and the peculiarities of self-government in the Basque Autonomous Community.
