The Bilbao-Bizkaia Design Creativity Council website has received one of the prestigious Laus Awards for graphic design and visual communication. The website has been developed by the Bilbao company LIN3S.
The BIDC portal, the acronym for Bilbao-Bizkaia Design & Creativity Council, has received a Laus Award for the best web development, thus highlighting the design, formal quality and functionality of the portal developed by the Bilbao studio LIN3S. These annual awards are organized by the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of the FAD, a professional non-profit entity which has been working for half a century ago to promote graphic design and visual communication. The Laus Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the country, were awarded in Barcelona on 26 June.
BIDC Council is an organisation promoted jointly by Bilbao City Council and the Regional Government of Biscay (Diputación Foral de Bizkaia) to project initiatives, companies and professionals linked to design and creativity in the territory internationally. The organisation works in collaboration with players in creative industries to raise their profile in forums and organisations related to these fields
Major initiatives related to design and creativity in Bizkaia which are already underway, a catalogue of companies, professionals and training centres, as well as the most important events taking place in Bizkaia with creative industries, can be found on the website. The portal has been developed by the Bilbao agency LIN3S, which already won a Laus Award last year for creating the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao portal.
