Basque Government Economic Development and Competitiveness Minister, Arantza Tapia, and the General Manager of the SPRI Group, Alexander Arriola, inaugurated the new SPRI office in Munich (Germany)
The opening ceremony was attended by the representative of the Bavarian Ministry of Economy, Dr. Schwab, members of Invest in Bavaria, and representatives of Basque companies installed in Germany.
The Basque Government chose Germany because it is a market that can provide growth of activity and generation of employment to the Basque business fabric.
From its location in Munich, the new office covers the entire German market, the 16 federal States or “Bundesländer”. In the last 10 years, Germany has been one of the main trading partners of the Basque Country both in imports and in exports.
This infrastructure will help Basque companies to establish business links with the engine of Europe, thereby further optimising its position in the country, bringing growth to the Basque economy and helping to create employment in the Basque Country.
