Consulting and computer services company GFI Norte, part of the GFI Group, expects to close 2014 with turnover close to 23 million euros, boosted largely by the strategic alliance signed with Euskaltel.
GFI Norte provides service from Galicia to Aragon, although its increased activity focuses on the Basque Country and Navarre, and it has its own offices in the three main Basque cities. With almost 500 employees, it expects to close the year with turnover close to 23 million euros and growth of 31% in the telecoms sector.
The agreement with Euskaltel has had immediate effects, such as the transfer to new facilities in the Bizkaia Technology Park in Zamudio. The backing of this strategic alliance also represents an increase in the turnover that GFI Norte contributes within the Group and already accounts for about one third of the turnover and resources of GFI Informática (Spain).
The immediate goal of GFI Norte is to expand in the telecoms world and work more with other operators such as Telefónica or Orange España. It has been working for Vodafone for several years, both nationally and internationally.
