GHH-BONATRANS India has awarded DANOBAT a contract to design, manufacture and supply a turnkey line to manufacture railway axles. The project is not merely limited to machines, but includes specialised engineering for the design, integration and commissioning of this facility.

With this contract, signed at the Innotrans trade fair in Berlin, DANOBAT consolidates its global leadership as a supplier of turnkey installations for advanced sectors such as the rail industry. The extensive international experience of DANOBAT in providing turnkey solutions worldwide proved essential for the customer to award this order to the Gipuzkoa company.

The company has recently signed major contracts with two renowned world leaders in the Australian mining industry. The first of these contracts is for the supply of a turnkey workshop for maintenance and repair of bogies and wheelsets for railway wagons. The second is for an automatic maintenance line for wheelsets. Both are for wagons to provide transport between a mine and a port.
