Guardian celebrates 80 years of operations

16 February, 2016

The Guardian factory in Llodio, formerly known as Villosa, has commemorated the 80th anniversary of its founding in 1935. Its executives have highlighted that the Alava plant is still the largest that the American group owns in Europe, with a workforce of 500 employees. Guardian entered the capital of Villosa in 1984 and, after major investments in 1995 and 2011, the plant specialises in the production of float glass and replacement windscreens for the automotive sector.
