The Board of Directors of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, the company arising out of the merger of Gamesa with Siemens Wind Power, has appointed Rosa María García as Chairwoman and formed a new Appointments and Remunerations Committee, which will begin the search for a new CEO, the company has informed.
Rosa García (Madrid, 1965) has been President of Siemens Spain since 2011. Ignacio Martín, former Executive Chairman of the wind turbine manufacturer, will continue as CEO of the combined company, to be called Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, during the transition process.
